The Landlord is the controller of personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).
The Host’s contact details are the contact details for the processing of Guests’ personal data.
The processing of Guests’ personal data may concern data such as: first name, last name (including the name of a sole proprietorship), address of residence, PESEL number, ID card number, e-mail address, telephone number, information about the date and time of the telephone call and the time and status of the call (unanswered, answered), IP address, preferred date and time of service, data related to the bank account from which the transfer was made, credit card or other form of payment in which personal data is processed, car registration number, data of other guests, including children and their age. Alternatively, in the event of a credit card being blocked due to the need to secure claims arising from possible damage to the Cottage, it is possible to store data such as the credit card owner’s details, card number, expiry date, and CVV code.
In order to enable the Host to conclude and perform the contract, the Guest is required to provide their personal data such as: name and surname, email address, telephone number, payment details, and details of other guests, including children and their ages. Providing this data is a condition for concluding the contract. In addition, the purpose of processing Guests’ personal data is to pursue or defend against any claims, document the performance of the service for tax purposes, ensure the highest quality of service for Guests, ensure the safety of Guests, and prevent damage that may be suffered by the Host or Guest. The Host makes every effort to protect your personal data from unauthorized access by third parties and respects your privacy. To this end, technical and organizational solutions are used to secure personal data. The level of personal data protection outside the European Economic Area (EEA) differs from that provided by European law. For this reason, the Host transfers personal data outside the EEA only when necessary and with an adequate level of protection.
Personal data will be processed for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of processing, i.e. until the completion of contracts, and after that time for the period required by law or for the pursuit of possible claims.
Guests have the right to request access to their personal data, to rectify it, to restrict the processing of personal data, to delete it or to transfer it.
If it is considered that the processing of Guests’ personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR, it is possible to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
The provision of personal data is voluntary, however, failure to provide personal data may result in the inability to provide rental services.
